Mean Muggin'

A serious looking male sea turtle kicks up some sand with its front flippers and settles in for cover. Some honu do this to blend in better with their surroundings to avoid sharks.

A little yawn from this lady while relaxing on the bottom. She has a piece of red algae, one of their sources of food, stuck in her mouth. You can see the serrations that allow them to cut their food including jellies and octopus occasionally.

Here, an algae eating fish cleans the neck of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. There are "cleaning stations" that the turtles can visit to get this done, seriously, like a spa!
